Shep Howard

Shep Howard was a Firbolg Cleric from Vasera, active around 845. Before being drafted into service by the crown family of Vasera, Shep would raid small caravan shipments along with a rotating band of bandits. As drought began to tear through the kingdom of Vasera, caravans became lighter and lighter. In search for a new source of income, Shep started to look for more legitimate work. Eventually, he took a job for the crown. Alongside a new adventuring party, Shep sailed north to Candlekeep, north in Talevir.

THE GREAT DROUGHT

Shep followed Erdo into the small library.  "Scepter," Shep quietly murmured.  The word no longer triggered the hallway doors-- apparently, the only means of escape from this strange place.  As Erdo concerned himself with the books around, Shep spotted a napping cat.  His large Firbolg frame bent over, his hand outstretched as he gave the cat a soft pet and scratch behind its ear.  He smiled as he focused his divine connection and felt that warm, guiding energy transfer from his arm to his new feline friend.  The cat purred and sprung up onto Shep's shoulders.  They may be trapped in this place, but at least they won't be alone.
