Jackdaw Scrivener

Born in 874 to a Candlekeep Avowed monk and a librarian, Jackdaw spent his childhood stuck in the libraries and the courtyards of Candlekeep with his twin sister, Shrike. Their mother, Magpie, tried to encourage an appreciation for the scholastic way of life by sharing books full of adventure and stories of their grandmother, Rook, from her work as an wilderness escort guard for the Avowed and Seekers. This backfired with Shrike, however, feeding the young tiefling's wanderlust and adventurous spirit, leading her to stowing away on a departing Seeker's ship when just fifteen years old. Jackdaw, on the other hand, became a Seeker.

In the year 906, Jackdaw is 32 years old and hasn't seen his sister in 17 years. He's been running with a band of charlatans around the capital of Talevir, Stagshead, but is implicated as having ransacked his grandmother's old flat in Cooperage while searching her belongings left after her passing.

The Sea's Well

In the year 906, his sister Shrike was on his trail to recover their grandmother's magical heavy crossbow. The group she was attached to had their travel plans put on hold as a tempest arrived to shore in Hartsport.   Shrike's pursuit brought her to Jackdaw's last known location: Stagshead.  One name that Shrike had as one of Jackdaw's contacts was that of a human bard, Ebrouhu Reeja.  The pair ran together in a small faction of thieves and cons working for the Velvet Sons.  This Ebrouhu may hold the key to finding Jackdaw's location or next movement...
