Ilfenore

Ilfenore is the great Elven capital of Maertheryan and rises up through the trees in a spectacular display of Elven artistry.
Ilfenore is a city almost entirely made up of Elves, few outsiders are permitted to remain within its walls though some intrepid traders have setup homes and shops in the areas surrounding the city. Outsiders are easily spotted, just like the old saying 'he stuck out like a Dwarf in Ilfenore'
The city and its buildings are hewn from the forest with buildings clinging to the sides of great tree trunks and elaborate walkways providing access through the city. There are some ground based buildings in the city but most of those are associated with various foreign controlled trading enterprises.
