Tiyaniht
A semi-organic metal that was formed under extreme pressure. It contains crystalized cells from ancient Raliok woven with the various metals and carbon atoms. The weaving of this semi-organic metal is so strong, that a single thread of Tiyaniht can hold over one million kilograms of force. It is a common building material, and is the basis of the planned space elevator that the Sunik Nation has started to construct as of 998 E.
Properties
Material Characteristics
Opaque, ebony, with a hint of iridescent sheen. Tends toward a tubular shape, its atomic layers more like sheets of atoms that can smoothly move past each other, but when intersected in welding, create a tight bond that requires high temperatures to break.
Physical & Chemical Properties
Hardness 12 (1-soft through 12-incredibly hard).
Has a melting temperature of 360 Kelvin.
Compounds
Predominantly made of Carbon along with a few other elements.
Geology & Geography
Origin & Source
Formed in lava tubes, from where Raliok roots had died and petrified, then melted by lava into a tubular atomic lattices.
