Dragonspire Castle

Its a strange thing, considering how well connected the rest of the empire is but I feel the reason they they had done this is a sort of self punishment. Demographics
While most towns, cities and even the smaller settlements have large demographics of various races and types of Dragonkin, Dragonspire is a unique exception to that rule. They are mostly made up of White, Black, and Purple Dragonkin. A lot of these are direct decendents of the Tyrants armies who were routed and fleed. They know that they hold a spiteful memory of their ancestors.
Government
Dragonspire has the same goverment body as the rest of the cities in Atria, however they rarely report regularily and often have bundles of paperwork arrive in Saguntum every three to five months.
Industry & Trade
Many locals work for the major mining or foresting industry. Some even earn a place in the families of the owners if they can prove that they are a positive influence and also a hard deciated worker.

The Cold Iron Found In the Glacier
The cold iron mines of the Spire are the largest known on both contenants. Over Ninety percent of the worlds Cold Iron comes from the spire, were it is often shipped out raw to the forges of Sagnumtum. The mines are well maintained and often checked for any forces that might be hidden down a recently discovered ruin or anything of that nature by the forces of the Spire. A lot of this is used by the Durradin empire to fight the vast undead hidden in their lower sections of the mountians. Many adventures who purchase Cold Iron weapons for any reason, find they are purchasing Cold Iron imported from Atria.
The Frost Wood Trees
The Trees of the local tunra and glacial area are known to be exceptionally tough and hard wearing. The locals known as the Bato clan are the sole remaining people who understand how to grow, maintain and finish this mysterious yet powerful resource.
History
The history of Dragonspire is one that has many gaps and few certainties. A lot of the history is mired in fog and ice. While some believe that the people of Dragonspire are conspiring to bring back Tiamut to the continent, the people of Dragonspire are simply attempting to earn their forgiveness.
