Share Memory

All right, my young mages—today we’re going to cover how to cast Shared Memory.   This spell allows you to share a brief moment of memory with another person, giving them a direct glimpse of what you saw, heard, and felt. It’s an efficient way to communicate information with far more detail than words can manage. It’s excellent for showing someone the layout of a locked dungeon, recounting a crime you witnessed, or explaining a situation where precision matters.   It can also be used for gentler reasons. I once knew a friend who did something truly romantic: he shared memories of the family he had lost with his fiancée now his wife so she could understand his past not as a story, but as something real.   There are many good reasons to use this spell. Just remember the limitation: the memory you share is short, but it is vivid. The target receives it the way you remember it. So choose carefully. Don’t share something that could embarrass you, expose secrets you meant to keep, or damage your reputation if the wrong person sees it.

Effect

You momentarily link your mind with the target and share a single memory of no longer than 1 minute. You can show the target one of your memories, show the target one of its own memories, or view one of the target's memories.

Gestures & Ritual
Bring your forehead to the target’s, establishing a close mental link. Then place your thumbs lightly against your own temples, followed by your pinkies, as if forming a delicate circuit around your thoughts. Speak the incantation while concentrating on the exact memory you intend to share, holding it steady until the spell carries it across.
