Seidon Steal Material in Elema | World Anvil

Seidon Steal

Deep on the ocean floor, underground or in caves is where you can find Seidon Steal. In the sea, this metal is lightweight and strong. On land, it appears to grow heavier and more brittle with time. Most often, it appears that Merfolk makes use of this metal. This is due to the fact that, in contrast to other sentient species, they can withstand the pressure of the sea.

Properties

Material Characteristics

Is smooth, shining metal that reflects light well and allows you to see that there was only a small amount of bio elimination or lighting.

Physical & Chemical Properties

The Seidon Steal maintains its great density and is lightweight for as long as it is submerged. Meaning that if you turn it into armor, it will make moving through the water easier while providing you with excellent protection. Take this metal onto land. It will triple in weight and begin to lose density over the following few days. After a few weeks, it will become incredibly brittle.

Geology & Geography

Seidon Steal all over the ocean depths. Either the underground cave or the ocean floor will house them. The risky aspect of this is that all kinds of marine creatures will probably live in caves. The fact is that the ore needs to be in a fairly large cave for it to be there. Therefore, it is likely that larger Predator species have made the cave their home. If you go digging for it, there is a danger that you will be attacked by unknown monsters because you appear to be easy prey.

History & Usage

Manufacturing & Products

To protect themselves and be able to combat the threats on land and at sea, Merfolks used Seidon Steal to make weapons and armor. They also believe used it to create homes and other structures. Rarely, although much less frequently, they do utilize it for jewelry. It has also been used to manufacture several instruments. These are merely the metal's most typical applications.

Hazards

Major risks include encountering creatures while you take Seidon Steal out of the ground or investigating caves. Magma pockets and cave collapses will also be a possibility.
