Lay Line Charge Explosion

All Lay Line explosions involve the accumulation of magical energy. Lay Line are ancient rivers of raw magical power buried beneath the surface of the world. Most lie dormant but when they awaken, they charge with terrifying intensity. The charging phase, which may last minutes or hours , is often preceded by unexplained phenomena: flickering lights, reversed gravity, unseasonal weather, or a sudden stillness in nearby wildlife. The cause of this energy buildup remains a mystery.

Veteran wizards describe a thrumming in the soul, an intense and foreboding pressure that grows with each passing second. Sensitive people may experience tingling limbs or hear dissonant whispers carried by the wind. Those sensitive to the Lay Line's element are more vulnerable. Prolonged exposure can result in Mana Surge, in which the body violently expels surplus magical energy, causing serious harm or death. In the very few, it will affect their physical and mental mutations to them more adaptable to the element of the lay line point. It is random when how and who or what will survivor it but what dose will be mutationed after the explosion.

Fire Lay Line

Effect: Massive fireball; scorches land in and right above the Layline point.
Impact: Creatures and Plants combust from both internal and external heat.
Casualties: Very high.
Mutations: ~10% of plants and ~25% of creatures may gain fire resistance and access to fire magic. Some creatures breathe fire or develop ember hardened scales. New fire-forged metals often appear. They gain aggressive personality traits

Water Lay Line

Effect: Flooding; caves fill with water, terrain becomes swampy. they water in some will asboe in to the land.
Impact: Internal liquefaction of living creatures; death is near-certain.
Casualties: High.
Mutations: ~20% of plants and ~15% of animals mutate, gaining water affinity and semi-aquatic traits. Some may require water to survive.

Earth Lay Line

Effect: Terrain upheaval; mini forests grow rapidly even in the under ground cave and the surrounding area
Impact: Plant matter grows from within bodies; iron-eating carnivorous plants may form.
Casualties: Moderate.
Mutations: ~40% of plants and ~10% of animals gain earth traits, resistance, and magic. Wolves covered in moss, iron eating deer, and ambulatory trees have been observed and are just few possibilities.

Air Lay Line

Effect: Violent large amount of air and pressure throughout the entire layline point and possibly in the sky as well
Impact: Internal compression crushes creatures from the inside out.
Casualties: Very high.
Mutations: ~0% of plants, but seed of the plant will shoot out the Laypoint and spread all over ~30% of animals mutate with wind affinity, resistance, and often grow wings.

Light Lay Line

Effect: Radiant burst; prolonged area heat.
Impact: Blinding light burns flesh and eyes; creatures vaporize into light.
Casualties: High.
Mutations: ~20% of plants and ~18% of animals gain light resistance and magic. Survivors often glow or radiate. Several survivors gain photosynthetic magic abilities

Dark Lay Line

Effect: Silent eruption; area consumed by absolute darkness.
Impact: Near-invisible devastation; most life annihilated or transformed.
Casualties: Extremely high.
Mutations: Few survive, but those who do gain dark resistance, dark magic, and extreme mutations. Darkness may restructure terrain or spawn dungeons. Some return with shadow limbs or the ability to phase through matter. Others become The monsters that come out of the dark.

Spirit Lay Line

Effect: Spiritual overcharge; minor to major quakes.
Impact: Excessive spiritual energy causes implosion of chakra networks.
Casualties: Moderate.
Mutations: ~35% of plants and ~43% of animals mutate with spirit affinity. Rumors exist of souls being displaced into metaphysical realms but they are rumors. Creatures and plant life are enhanced stronger become the heightened physique of their species and gain spiritual resistance and magic

Will Lay Line

Effect: Psychological explosion; mental projections manifest.
Impact: The surge of your neural net and mind get overloaded and then explode as well as your thoughts
Casualties: High among thinking beings; plants unaffected.
