Hunters Guild Recruitment Pamphlet
The Hunters guild has many guildhalls throughout the lands of Variel. Each guildhall serves a different part of the world, but hunters from each hall are respected at other halls. The guild will recruit in many ways, but often times they will hand out pamphlets at adventurer halls, taverns, festivals, or other large gatherings in hopes of increasing recruitment.
In any pamphlet, people will find information on the local chapter of the hunters guild, as well as any useful skills that applicants should possess, or look to develop. The pamphlet also offers hunter training to people who may be new to monster slaying. All versions of the pamphlet will talk about the need for candidates to be familiar with local laws regarding bounty work, and contract law. This is so members of the hunters guild can effectively negotiate their own contracts with potential buyers without the fear of breaking the law.
The pamphlets also talk about the 'Old Guard', and elite circle of hunters comprised of members from guilds across Variel. It is an honored position to be drafted into the Old Guard, and has been particularly effective in drawing in new recruits to the hunters guild. The promise of prestige among hunters holds just as much esteem from peers as a highly decorated soldier, or veteran from the military.
Pamphlets will also go into detail into the type of hunts that are most common in the immediate area that the hunters guild serves. There will be graphed breakdowns of the most common hunts over the past year, as well as statistics detailing the most dangerous hunts that members have been a part of. There is also information on what kind of pay members can expect, and other benefits offered to hunters by the guild, and from local authorities and businesses. It is laced with stories and propaganda that has been tested and proven to be most effective in recruiting new members to the guild, so that the hunters guild may maintain healthy numbers. And to this end, it does it's job well, garnering an ever increasing number of recruits year after year.
