Kingdom of Onagan
Culture
The current culture of the kingdom is in a transitional period. After king Alexander Valen made peace with the Ilamery Hegemony he opened the borders to allow trade to flow more easily again, and while many were happy with the increased wealth, people are sometimes hard to change.
Public Agenda
King Alexander Valen was seen as a just and fair ruler who focused on ending the war with the Ilamery Hegemony in his early years and economic recovery afterwards. Queen Felicity Valen, while still new to being queen, seems to be following in her father's footsteps. As the economy is starting to stabilize, she is shifting focus to civic expansion.
History
The kingdom was started with the city of Onagan, one of the first new settlements created after the Sundering. First ruled by king Gerald Onagan, leadership changed in a revolt only a couple hundred years after it's founding. It has since been ruled by the Valen Royal Family.
Territories
The Kingdom of Onagan rules over the the western continent of the Ashfel Archipelago including the cities of Kragdurahl, Squall's End, and Yokestown. While it also lays claim to Oakwater and Wavescrest, they are mostly self governed and they are treated as more of vassal states.
