Ikalaqil
Description
Ikalaqil is depicted as a towering, bat-like entity with a skeletal frame, covered in thick, matted fur the color of obsidian. His wings are vast, casting entire villages in shadow when he flies overhead. His face is a vile blend of humanoid and bat features, with long, curved fangs, and hollow, glowing red eyes that pierce through darkness. His breath carries the scent of death, and his voice is the whisper that echoes from unseen places. Ikalaqil is a god of relentless hunger and survival, being both the figure of feasting and famine. He is both a bringer of ruin and a natural force of nature, ensuring only the strong survive. Many Botari warriors invoke him before battle, believing that those who fight with hunger in their hearts will be blessed by his favor.Personality
Ikalaqil is a predatory and insatiable entity, embodying the merciless, eternal cycle of hunger and the hunt. He does not act out of malice, but rather enforces the natural order, where the strong must consume to survive, and the weak must fall to sustain them. He is apathetic to suffering, seeing hunger as both a test and a truth—one that cannot be ignored or denied no matter how one might try. However, Ikalaqil also represents those who can master their hunger, whether by controlling their apetites or by devouring all that stands in their way. He has little patience for excess or waste; those who overconsume without purpose are often cursed by him, their bodies shriveling into starved husks or transforming into monstrous bat-like creatures known as the Bainligor.Abilities

Combat
In battle, Ikalaqil is a relentless hunter, swooping from the darkness with supernatural speed. His claws can tear through flesh, stone, and even magic, and his fangs drain the life from his victims. He fights with a mixture of brutal physical strikes and reality-warping darkness, using the night itself as his weapon. He cannot be fought in the dark—only fire, sunlight, or divine intervention can weaken his hold on the battlefield.Possessions
The Golden Maw
A golden, serrated mask that he wears when presiding over feasts and sacrifices. It is said that mortals who wear a replica of the Gilded Maw gain the ability to devour anything—stone, flesh, even the spirits of the dead. The Hungerbrand
A bone-bladed ceremonial dagger, shaped like a bat’s talon, used in rituals of sacrifice. It is said that those killed with this dagger do not die but become part of Ikalaqil’s eternal swarm, their souls transformed into his shadowy minions.Realm
