Itzamatul is among the smaller Kirishi tribes. The tribe is well isolated from the surrounding world, only recently discovered by an expedition venturing into the area. The way to the village is blocked by a ravine at the bottom of which a roaring river flows. The only known way to get across this ravine is an old bridge just barely able to support the weight of a loaded horse, with nobody brave enough to test how much it can really take in fear of losing the only way to and from the village.
