Guardian of the Fallen

Erala is the final judge of the souls of mortals, and the guardian of their eternal rest. She doesn’t concern herself with the realm of the living any more than is necessary, her focus being largely on watching over and sending the dead to their final reward, or due punishment. What does concern her on the Material is the creation of intelligent undead, and other things that chain souls to the material; her priests try to bring peace to those who are near death, lay the restless souls like ghosts or banshees down to rest, and destroy anything that chains the souls of the dead to the Material plane against their will. Her clerics commonly come into conflict with the priests of Emloy, and often seek the same battlefields they do for the purpose of keeping them away from the dying.
