Visionatic Snake

The Visionatic Snake is a dangerous animal that can hypnotize their victims with magic. It can grow up to a length of almost two meters and is able - just like any snake - to unhinge their jaw to swallow prey as a whole. It uses hypnotization rarely for hunting but often to scare dangers away. As most victims tend to become agressive and disoriented during the snake's influence, this often results in an attack by the snake.
The snakes are not naturally found in Caramiza, rather to the south somewhere in the region of Knurkang. Multiple rich people claim to have one or more of these creatures as exotic pets. There is at least on exemplar in the Brookedust Zoo. In an incident it killed multiple visitors and traumatized a girl.
Even though they are apparent relatives of venomous snakes, their poison glands are non functional and oddly deformed. Some researches have theorized the glands contain the source of the snake's magic abilities. Rumor has it, some indigenous clans in Knurkang believe eating such a gland can grant or boost magical power.
