Sabes' Marble

Sabes' Marble is a type of Marble exclusively quarried in Sabesbank Quarry in the region of Gamiantown Sabesbank. Originally classified as an impure form of marble, the pure white stone has veins of blue crystals enclosed in it. Due to some clever promotion a few centuries ago, the marble itself was used in construction of the White Starshrine, the new great temple of Sabes. After this, the marble became more widely desired for larger building projects.
The marble demonstrates some fascinating magical qualities. Used as a focus, it can bundle different types of magic together and it seems to strengthen the mental capabilities of a wielder when applied to wands, staffs, or other apparel. It is also a very good conductor of light-based magic and an effective protection against corrosive magical effects, as well as natural acids.
