Hannes Caramian

He once was perceived as a shining hero to the progress of this nation. We are very sad how the son of our regent turned out.

Hannes Caramian is the youngest of two sons to the current regent, Gustav Caramian III. of Bealuki, and brother to three additional sisters. As he was not expected to become the heir to the throne, Hannes was well known as a well-educated and promising scholar with great admiration and interest for the vast industrial growth and potential within the country. Currently, Hannes is set to be declared disowned by his father and in hiding, supposedly supporting the Steelbrethren's anti-industrialist rebellion.

Early childhood and education

During Hannes' early childhood, before his father unexpectedly became the regent of Caramiza, he enjoyed a perfectly protected upbringing. His father wanted him to be properly educated as a valuable and connected nobleman in court and initially enrolled him into an academy.
After the unexpected death of the former regent, his uncle Deldehard Caramian of Bealuki Hannes and his brother suddenly were the sons of the new regent. Education in a public albeit exclusive school was no longer acceptable and they had to leave their childhood friends behind. Their further education was to be entirely done by personal tutors.
Hannes grew especially attached to his teacher in natural sciences and philosophy. He showed a great interest in technology and famoulsly debated before the council for the creation of a larger industrial town in the area of Whitesteel Inc. His rather radical pro-industrialist stances did lead to a falling out with his much more moderately inclined mentor.

Any proper child of a regent should be properly educated. At first, this was a good thing. But maybe his dangerous delusions would have found less ground.
