King Kilvar Steelforge

Kilvar Steelforge was king of Vundkrag from EL 918 to 1000. He was born in Shildefficte to King Endek and Queen Temilga Steelforge, and married the Lady Ilde Gorunn of Silverkeep in EL 811, and moved there. They had two children, Prince Ulfgar and Princess Beldar. When Endek passed away in 918, Kilvar was crowned king, and moved back to Shildefficte, leaving his younger sister Giledd in charge of Silverkeep. Kilvar's wife Ilde died of illness in 947, and thirty years later, in 978, Kilvar remarried to Aminat Broodfist, daughter of Sir Vondal Broodfist of Silverkeep. She bore a son to him, Matrek, in 998.
Kilvar was known as a stern and inflexible king who held fast to tradition. He had a significant devotion to the Meydra Marosk and Wulozha.
Kilvar was killed by nightbringer assassins on the night of the Battle of Geldereth. His son Ulfgar took his place as king shortly afterwards.
