Cleric

Clerics are priests who, in exchange for their devotion, may channel some of the power of their patron deity to work miracles. Clerics must adhere to the beliefs of their patron to maintain their powers. The key attributes for a cleric are Wisdom and Charisma. All clerics can bestow a divine blessing (a buff that raises AC). Clerics use a resource called Favor which is depleted by using powers and regained through prayer (a resting ability all clerics have). Clerics' other powers are tied to their choice of patron.   At level 20, clerics can begin the quest to unlock the vicar title. At level 35 they can begin the quest to unlock the hierophant title, and at level 50 they can begin the epic quest to unlock the thaumaturge title.   Clerics cannot wear armor.   Cleric Skills: Staff (150), Warhammer (150), Mace (150), Shield (150)   Class Ability: Prayer - Recover Favor by praying to your patron. Receiving damage, moving, or taking an action will interrupt the prayer Class Ability: Divine Blessing - AC buff (scales with level) Class Ability: Divine Weapon (200) - all clerics can use their patron's iconic weapon   The possible patrons and their cleric powers:
  • Anashti Sul – (Divine Weapon: Scythe) Heal, Forestall Death (resurrect a target dead less than four minutes), Ravaging Fever (single target disease DoT vs. living), Racking Cough (target spends several seconds doubled over in a coughing fit and is unable to take other actions for the duration of the effect), Cure Malady, Shield vs. Undeath (Damage shield vs. undead), Smite Undead (DD vs. Undead), Expulse Undead (fear vs. undead), Sense the Dead (orient the Cleric towards nearest undead and give a count of the number of undead in the area), Quietus (prevent a slain undead being from resurrecting), Reap (slay a living enemy below 20% life or any living enemy less than or equal to 20% the cleric's level), Call of the Desert (group teleport to the Temple of Anashti Sul in the Ruins of Ahket Aken)

Additionally priests of Brell gain a special skill called Deep Sense, which they can use to attempt to determine the direction of the Temple of Brell Serilis. This skill only works while on or under the ground (i.e. not while at sea, in the air, or on another plane). It can be used to orient yourself much like a compass. When you succeed at the check you see the message, "You feel something beautiful calling to you from the depths of the Underfoot. It lies [direction (e.g. to your left and downwards)]." The skill starts at 0 and the skill cap increases by five each level.
