Veron's Fate

After betraying the predecessors to the Adventurers, Veron seemed to dissolve strangely rather than dying. He appeared later at the ambush at the Delevir graveyard, where he aided the demons in attempting to capture Vorteus.

He unexpectedly appeared at the summit of leaders in Karthanc as a guest of Kelciara Mondelain. He claimed to have ceased aiding Xarin and has returned to the side opposing the Disciples of Kord. He also made reference to some leverage that Fenyin had used to force his aid in the search for Vorteus, though he didn't elaborate.

When the adventurers met with Carn Irax and gave him the Scepter of Sarterus, he mentioned that Veron could be a valuable ally if his loyalty was real, but he had been unable to talk to him after the summit, and had not seen him since.
