Kentaz, Master of the Void

"A true master of patience and strength, serving his duty to the very end. Knowing and positioning the pieces into place that would spell his demise."
Maester Eckhart

Origin

Kentaz unlike the other gods looked inward in the beginning. Knowing fully how to master himself and control his divine power well before his brethren. His wisdom and steadfast strength attracted the creations of the other gods. They found peace in the teachings of Kentaz instead of the sometimes fanatical devotion demanded by the other young gods. The followers of Kentaz would make their way across Eglorix teaching peace and introspection. On the rare occasion, the followers would encounter opposition from the other factions their martial prowess was unmatched.

The Void

When the Outsiders escaped and ran amok on Eglorix the followers of Kentaz were quick to respond to the dangers. Kentaz knew quickly that the outsiders were not something that could simply be defeated simply. They were made from the same essence the Gods were made of and required great energy to defeat. He devised the creation of the Void a great barrier of nothingness that would keep Eglorix safe from the things beyond and prevent those within from venturing too far. Kentaz was the only one of the gods strong enough to create and maintain such a realm. The void was formed and the outsideres were banished to beyond the Void. From that point on Kentaz became the guardian of Eglorix from the outsiders and things that were worse still.

The War and the Ages

Kentaz stayed out of the War of the Gods and his followers maintained neutral monastaries as safe areas for the other followers. He was one of the first to sign The Accords and was given special permissions within the agreement. The next time the barrier was used was when Laedo, The Mad God of Magic and Spline God of Machination and Tinkering were banished for violations to the Accords.

A Crack

At the end of the second age when Que’h Lain, The Torturer stole the divinity and power of Tavos, God of the Storm, all but killing him, that arcane energy damaged the void. The sheer violence of ripping the divine energy from a god and his plane adjacent to the Void. Just the barest slightest crack and Laedo was watching. He saw the weakness and began to exploit it. Kentax saw it as well and began to plan.

Death

As the third age wore on into its 14th centruy, Kentaz saw Laedo's plan begging to come together and fall into motion. He was forced begin to make counter moves to ensure eglorix would be safe. The adventurers known as Deus Umbra played a pivotal role in ensuring Laedo was once again trapped and his divine powers given to another. However, with all the preperaations Laedo had been making Kentaz himself was holding the Void together and trapping Laedo destroyed Kentaz and shattered the Void to fall to Eglorix.   Many seek the shards of the Void for its power, a sect of Kentaz followers believe that enough shards were to be gathered in one person Kentaz would be reborn.
