Spline God of Machination and Tinkering

One of the Triplets, Gods of the Gnomes. Banished by Zetriel God of Chaos and the other Gods for violating The Accords . He was sent beyond the Void.

Violation

Where his brothers were content building machines, toys, tinkering or if extermenly motivated trying to breath some semblance of life into machines, Spline was not. Spline became more interested in making machines out of men or some variation. He and his followers became fairly skilled in this but then came The Accords. The Accords strictly forbid this work, declaring it an abomination. Spline was able to return to his previous work for only so long until he was drawn back to his experiments. When it was discovered the Gods leveed thier judgment against him and he was expelled from the PantheonZetriel God of Chaos was the enforcer of the Accords and carried out the judgment. Spline went gracefully and was allowed to take some of his creations with him.

Void

Little is known about what lies beyond the void but it protected Eglorix from the many dangers of the planes and beyond. It was difficult to cross the void and required a great deal of arcane energy. Kentaz, Master of the Void was the keeper of the Void and maintained it, his charge by The Accords. During those many years of banishment Spline went through many changes and made many modifications of himself to survive.

The Return

Spline saw his chance and allied himself with Laedo, The Mad God of Magic to get back.  The alliance was tenuous but it served a purpose for both of them. When Deus Umbra interefered with Laedo's plans imprisoning him and transitioning his power to Dystia, Goddess of Magic Spline defected at the last moment. The void was shattered and falling to Eglorix and the horrors from the beyond followed behind it. Spline had known these horrors for to long and chose to take his place in the Accords, building the Clockwork Gate. When Erstatz the Holy and Courtain, God of Evil arrived to return Spline to where he belonged they bore witness to its creation. Seeing it fulfill the Accords they asssited in holding back the outsiders until its completion, then departed leaving Spline to his new role.
