Facial Features
Varahosst has five heads; one for each of the colours of dragon that he rules over. They are purple, orange, yellow, gray, and brown.

Varahosst has all of the abilities of his draconic kin in addition to his five heads being able to act independently from each other.

Personal history
Varahosst came into existence at the same time as the gods Bahamut and Tiamat. However, like them, the circumstances surrounding his birth are unknown. Similarly to Tiamat, Varahosst and his kin had chromatic scales. This made them natural allies and they worked closely with one another in various battles and schemes. Unfortunately, this did not last forever. Tiamat and Varahosst had differing personalities. Varahosst valued law and order whilst Tiamat reveled in chaos and destruction. Eventually, this difference in temperament led to a disdain for one another. This disdain paved the path to hatred and, subsequently, to the death of Varahosst. Tiamat used powerful magic to put Varahosst to sleep and then slaughtered him in order to rid herself of a rival and gain more power and influence over dragonkind. She also had the chromatic dragons loyal to her slaughter all of the dragons of Varahosst in a worldwide genocide.
Unfortunately for Tiamat, some of the kin of Varahosst managed to survive by hiding in the Lands Below. Ten thousand years after their retreat underground, they were discovered by an adventuring party that would come to be known as Varahosst's Host. The dragons, with the help of the adventurers, managed to resurrect Varahosst who would then proclaim that the dragonborn paladin Xorenath would be his chosen.
Failures & Embarrassments
Varahosst's most disgraceful embarrassment was when he was slain by Tiamat after being put to sleep.
