Mayor Maleko of the Mountains
Most beings in Boncly are the typical type of person. "Humanoid" for lack of a better word, but they typically look like one another in the general frame. Most of the bestial, the differently framed, beings are native to the nearby Alicein, or Atalanta to the north. Mayor Maleko is not one of these people.
A Kenku, corvid-like bipedal creatures, Maleko was born to a family of foragers who had lived in Boncly for generations. When Boncly shifted from being a territory of Agartha to its own nation, Kenku were not treated well by the general populace, due to their similarities to Aarakocra, who had caused a majority of issues during the war.
Maleko's family decided to leave the country for Alicein, and Maleko was too young to make a choice, but they always felt a draw to Boncly throughout their stay in Alicein.
Once they were old enough, Maleko made the decision to return to Boncly on their own, back to the city they knew and loved in Sunshine. But it was no longer the city they loved.
The town had become dull and despondent, there was no light or enjoyment to be found in the city in the stones. This was unacceptable, and Maleko was determined to fix it.
Maleko brought their upbringing and knowledge of community togetherness from their life in Alicein to the city, and worked tirelessly to bring everyone together and connect one another via mutual connection and respect, and brought some light back to the city.
When Maleko reached the minimum age for political running, their allies urged them to try and take reigns of the city officially, and enact changes throughout the territory that they had changed in the main city. Unable to deny such a strong request, Maleko did just that and ended up barely winning to their opponent, where they have reigned as Mayor for the last 3 years.

After rising into The Sunsetters following induction as Mayor, Maleko became the head of The Shadebringers, the Biological Science division, and with their unique insight, experimentation, and natural affinity towards Knowledge, quickly began to aid The Sunsetters in ways thought impossible before, including the typology of Vampires.

General Physical Condition
Even though it can be harder to tell the different frames of Avian creatures compared to humanoid ones, due to feathers hiding most of the form, Maleko is considered slimmer than other Kenku and tends to train in simple dextrous ways.
Identifying Characteristics
Aside from being one of the few Kenku in Boncly, not to mention the Sunsetters, Maleko does have a few feathers that are stained white from their incident with the Meltmouth.

Malkeo tends to swivel their head back and forth when taking in what someone's saying.

Maleko didn't grow up with a hard grasp on their gender, and even after learning more about it doesn't see much of a need to identify any specific way, but they do go by Agender for lack of a better term.
Sexuality
Maleko has never shown themselves to be romantically or sexually interested in anybody.
Education
Maleko was taught how to forage and gather materials from grasslands by their parents, and when they got to Alicein the young Kenku trained in a monastery about how to gather information in any situation, and apply it in typical and specialized ways.
They weren't the most prepared for a role of leadership when the time came, but their sheer charisma began to bring people together, and once they realized they were technically responsible for community outreach, they used their taught skills to learn quickly.
Employment
Before rising to the position of Mayor of Sunshine, Maleko had worked as a forager like their parents before them, working alongside the herbalists and alchemists of Sunshine.

As a Sunsetter and a Mayor of Boncly, Maleko is expected to take the duties of leadership for one of the many sectors. As the position for the Shadebringers, the Biological Science Division, was open and fit Maleko's innate curiosity and desire to learn, it was an easy choice for them.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Maleko's biggest public achievement is bringing together their community of Sunshine once more after an era of disconnection and mismanagement of the city.
For their work in the secret organization of The Sunsetters, when they were finally able to start identifying the differences between Vampires and creating an accurate typology was a huge achievement for them, and the organization as a whole.
Mental Trauma
In their early days of Sunsetter training, Maleko had to come face to face with the horrid anatomies of many of the monsters they were facing. One such monster, known as a "Meltmouth" to the organization wasn't as dead as it seemed when it was put in containment, and Maleko got a first-hand look at why it was called that. The defense team got there in more than enough time, and their feathers grew back, but to this day, they fear sharp teeth and the sound of sizzling.
Intellectual Characteristics
A feature of Kenku's is their natural mimicry of the voices around them, leading to many of them having intensely observant personalities, and Maleko is no different in that regard, but what is uncanny is their ability to recall and piece together disparate pieces of information together, as their skills of deduction are top-notch.
Morality & Philosophy
Maleko believes that nothing important can be done by one person alone, and therefore is a key supporter of unity and togetherness in any community, no matter the size. They're one who is opposed to Boncly's typical isolationist viewpoint, but they also understand the ideology behind it and recognize that The Sunsetters are a way to counteract that idea, as they are intensely focused on assisting all of Edda through their efforts.
