Blessed Landing

The Blessed Landing is a tavern in the New Dock Ward of Averum with a reputation for being popular amongst sailors along with generally superstitious folk. This in some part can be owed to the presence of a large shrine to Umberlee built into the taverns side. The building was originally a temple to Umberlee though the events of the Open Hand Massacre in 800 DC brought suspicion to Umberlee and it was largely destroyed in protest. The tavern was founded on the remains of the temple in 997 DC after many years of inaction by the church.
