As a citizen of The Sanctuary, you have spent your life in the heart of the Convergent Realms — a place where paths between divine domains twist and turn but never truly collide. Unlike the other realms, The Sanctuary is not shaped by the will of any singular god. It is instead maintained by the insight of the enigmatic Council of Balance, whose authority is absolute in this neutral ground. Here, mortals, celestial, and even lesser deities tread carefully, for no one is above the Accord of Balance.
Whether by fate or fortune, you have been chosen. Days ago, a message reached you in a manner only the Silent Actors could achieve — without warning, without sound, but with absolute certainty. You may have found it tucked among your belongings, hidden in a tome you thought you knew by heart, or whispered into your dreams like a memory you had forgotten. The message was brief, precise, and undeniably clear:
"By decree of the Council of Balance, you are called. A matter of grave concern threatens the Accord. Meet with the one called ‘The Watcher in the Veil.’ You will know them by their mask of mirrored silver. Come at once."
