High Precursor Era

Era beginning/end

Introduction:   The High Precursor Era is the ~300,000 year long era in the Illithid-Dilug Intergalactic Empire of New Rocheron's history that was the most technologically advanced. The era gave birth to technology such as the Singularity Drive, plane gliding, and time distortion. Since the end of the era, technology has remained at a mostly constant level of advancement.   Previous Era: Ancient Precursor Era   Next Era: Modern Era   Beginning:   The High Precursor Era began when Forced Stellar Collapse was first widely used, allowing the Empire to manipulate the stars in the sky. The nearly limitless matter and energy from the former stars fueled their technological advancements, allowing them to create nearly anything and somewhat manipulate time itself.   Ending:   The High Precursor Era ended with the conclusion of The Second Cataclysm, marking the transition into the Modern Era. Much of the technology invented during the era was no longer used after the cataclysm, with it either disappearing or being classified by the Empire. The purpose of this is widely unknown.
