Arrow Galaxy

Introduction:

The arrow galaxy is a spiral galaxy 13.63 million light years away from the Founder Galaxy. It is orbited by two irregular satellite galaxies. It is infamous for being the home galaxy of The Scourge.

Structure:

The arrow galaxy is very similar to the founder galaxy in structure, having a similar mass and possessing two major arms. Despite having a similar mass the arrow galaxy's diameter is approximately 20 million light years larger. Studies on star density have confirmed this discrepancy is entirely natural and is not a consequence of the scourge or other civilizations.
The arrow galaxy's major anomaly is its incredibly high concentration of dark energy. Measurements taken during the High Precursor era displayed dark energy concentrations of up to 10,000 times higher than the average for most of the universe. Most scientists agree that this anomaly was caused by either the Third Divine War or the death of Universal Rebirth.

Inhabitants:

The scourge is the only known extant civilization in the galaxy. Stealth probes sent into the arrow galaxy early during the scourge crisis found no evidence of other extant civilizarions and found only the ruins of extinct species absorbed into the scourge.
