Introduction:
The anti-divinity field, or ADF, is an ancient device that predates the
Illithid-Dilug Intergalactic Empire of New Rocheron. It creates an area around the device that is filled with paradoxes. Since divinity is drawn from the universe and paradoxes are not compatible with the universe, gods and their servants cannot see or interact with an ADF.
Paradoxes:
A paradox is a statement or observation that is incompatible with the laws of the universe. The ADF takes advanatge of this by broadcasting these paradoxes in a localized area. While anyone can purposefully proclaim a false statement, only paradoxes that are possible in another reality allow the ADF to function. For all of imperial civilization, these paradoxes have been observed from the Looking Glass, an ancient artifact gifted by the
Super-Aberrant Megafauna. The Looking Glass serves as a window into another universe with slightly different laws of physics, allowing paradoxes to be observed with ease.
