Dualitas

Dualitas is an extremely rare condition in which an Elf is born with two souls, each shining out of one eye.
The Errean consider Dualitas to be chosen by Legias for a special task, while the Paeko think them cursed and cast them out.
Dualitas constantly have to struggle with the push and pull of the two souls - and personalities - within them. Some lucky Dualitas have similar souls, while others have such differences that it drives them insane.

Transmission & Vectors

Dualitas can not be transmitted, they are born this way.

Symptoms

Afflicted have two souls, two personalities within them. Each eye glows with the colour of one of these souls.

Treatment

There is no known treatment for Dualitas. Extracting one of the souls of a Dualitas is not only risky but futile - they become Soulless if even one soul is taken from them.

Prognosis

Depending on the differences of the souls and the afflicted's mental stability, Dualitas is a stable condition.
