Stormcastle
Demographics
Stormcastle consists mostly of Krenadan humans, though other ethnicities of humans, as well as other races, certainly call Stormcastle home as well. As with any city, there is a large population of working class individuals - carpenters, masons, fishermen, dock workers, laborers, and the like. Being a fairly wealthy city, however, the middle class is quite large as well, consisting of skilled craftsmen, guild members, merchants, and more. The Royal District is home to many of the city's elite - aristocrats and nobility - of which there are plenty as well.
Government
Being a part of Krenada, Stormcastle is ultimately ruled over by the King of Krenada, Eridor Stormcastle. However, despite being named for the Stormcastle family, the city is actually owned by Henry Moore, the holder of the Count of Stormcastle title.
The Count still is not the one typically responsible for the day to day operation of the city. That responsibility is left to the Lord Mayor, Elliot Ward. He in turn reports to the count, who in turn reports to Chester Hawkins, the Duke of Apla. Then, finally, the duke reports to the king.
In addition to the mayor, Stormcastle has a large town council who advises and helps govern the city. While ultimately it is the mayor who is responsible for the day to day decisions (who can in turn be overruled by the count, duke, or king), the council still meets to discuss and vote on certain issues, more as an advisory role for the mayor than anything else.
Defences
Being the capitol city of Krenada, Stormcastle is very well defended. It's immense stone wall stands 20' tall and half as thick. Towers with armed guards extend every so often, and each gate is watched by a large garrison of troops. Ballistae, catapults, and other such equipment adorn the walls and towers as well. Inside the city proper, districts are walled off with smaller 10' walls. Then there's the keep, a near impregnable fortress of stone rising 60' into the air. In addition to all this stone work, an incredibly large detachment of Krenadan soldiers is permanently stationed in Stormcastle. This is not to mention the Crimson Wings, Krenada's law enforcement agency, and all the guards they have stationed throughout the city, nor the private guards of nobles and aristocrats, former adventurers, students and teaches of the Krenada College of Mages and the Krenada Bardic University. All in all, with such a mighty defensive force, Stormcastle's outer walls have never been breached.
Industry & Trade
Being the largest and capitol city of Krenada, Stormcastle is quite the trading hub. Much of the trade that goes on in the western half of the continent comes through the city, whether by sea or by land. While Trader's Port is technically a busier seaport, Stormcastle sees more trade in a given day.
All sorts of interesting items come through Stormcastle, many of which can be purchased in one of the city's many shops, or traded for in the Stormcastle Marketplace. The city's main exports happen to be agricultural, like most settlements in Krenada. However, the city's size alone lends it to export all sorts of other crafted items as well.

History
Stormcastle was founded as the capitol of Krenada in the fall of 493 of the Fourth Age, when Eluric Stormcastle vanquished the fire giants and expelled them from this land. Since then, the city grew into the massive metropolis it is today.
Tourism
People come from all around to witness the splendor that is the city of Stormcastle. From the Stormcastle Marketplace, to the various shops, to the skilled craftsmen, the theatres of the Krenada Bardic University, and the Stormcastle Arena and Stormcastle Tournament Grounds.
Geography
Stormcastle is built atop a hill, surrounded on three sides by hilly grasslands covered in farms. To the north is the North Sea.
