Tower of the Twelve

The Tower of the Twelve, located floating above the center of Wollvern Park in Korth in Karrnath, is the magician's college for the dragonmarked houses and is the primary rival of the Arcane Congress.

It serves exclusively the dragonmarked houses and is operated by the Twelve. The tower has thirteen floors full of classrooms, libraries, and laboratories with exception of one floor, which remains empty to memorialize the lost thirteenth dragonmark.

Founded fifteen hundred years ago (before there were even twelve recognized dragonmarks), the Twelve is a shining example of cooperation among the dragonmarked houses—an arcane foundation intended to study dragonmarks, arcane magic, and artifice. The Twelve's studies emphasize the use of magic to improve daily life and, in particular, facilitate the work of the dragonmarked houses for economic gain. The invention of airships and message stations can be credited to the researchers of the Twelve.
