Dragonmarked House

Dragonmarked houses are extended families of a single race whose members sometimes manifest a Dragonmark . They often have a near-monopoly on certain kinds of businesses and are considered neutral in any affairs between the nations of Khorvaire . Many of the dragonmarked houses existed before the Kingdom of Galifar, and they have used their mystical powers to gain considerable political and economic influence. There are currently thirteen families whose bloodlines carry the potential to manifest a dragonmark:

• House Medani (Half-Elf bearers of the Mark of Detection )
• House Orien (Human bearers of the Mark of Passage )
• House Phiarlan (Elf bearers of the Mark of Shadow )
• House Sivis (Gnome bearers of the Mark of Scribing )
• House Tharashk (Half-Orc and Human bearers of the Mark of Finding)
