Born in Falcon’s Hollow, Tim left at a young age to serve as a squire to Sir Sercyl Drosin, paladin of the Church of the Silver Flame . He fought for the Kingdom of Thrane in the Last War. When the war ended, Sir Sercyl and Tim traveled the continent for two years, hunting werewolves and demons, before they heard rumors from the city of Cauldron. Rumors of people going missing in the night. Suspecting vampires, the paladin and his squire traveled to the jungles of Q'barra.
Cauldron is a small city 85 miles north of Falcon's Hollow, and the squire was eager to visit his home after being away for so long. Sir Sercyl rented a room in Cauldron and began investigating the disappearances, while Tim rode three days south to visit his hometown.
When Tim arrived in Falcon's Hollow, he was not greeted with triumph as he had hoped. Instead, a plague has taken hold of the town. Many of his childhood friends and family members are sick and dying. In the past week, a group of adventurers ventured into the woods seeking a cure, but failed to return. The town grows more desperate by the day.
Tim knows he needs to return to Cauldron to rejoin his mentor, but all signs indicate that Sir Sercyl is undertaking a long and difficult investigation. Sir Sercyl is a prudent and capable paladin and plans to gather information for several weeks before making a move against whatever evil is stalking the streets of Cauldron. But first, his hometown needs him.
