Lascivious Lotus

Lascivious Lotus (AKA Lacey Lotus) is a former prostitute who is currently running the single largest procurement network in Korth. She does not so much operate brothels as she maintains and manages the schedules of a diverse group of independent sex-workers for a small percentage of their earnings. Lacey believes strongly that women (and men) in her trade should be their own bosses and should only take jobs they feel comfortable taking. Because of this, Lacey has been attracting more and more people to her operation, many of whom escape from less savory working conditions to do so. Lacey has recently purchased an entire block of flats in Kingsgarden where such individuals can live and work in relative safety.
Although the ferocity and prowess of her "security expert," the dragonborn monk called Gaetta Sunscale, was instrumental in giving her the chance to begin her empire, the one man alone is no longer enough (despite his reputation). Lacey has begun employing about a score of "protectors" (mostly female) with varied skillsets to help ensure everyone's safety. The group does not have an official name, but some wags have taken to calling them Lacey's Bedbugs since they have become so ubiquitous in certain neighborhoods.
Lacey is half-orc; she was born in Korth and grew up on some of the meaner streets of thereof. She's got a sharp mind and an even sharper tongue. She's not classically beautiful, but possesses an enormous charisma that she pretends to be unaware of. She's a known saleswoman and has a reputation for always getting what she wants and making you feel grateful for giving it to her.

Identifying Characteristics

While they are not particularly pronounced, Lacey does have the short tusks common to half-orcs. Her left tusk is broken off at the root (courtesy of a beating she received from a member of the Fancy Bastards gang), so only the right remains.

Apparel & Accessories

Although she has never been there and has no ties to it, Lacey always dresses in the traditional garb of the Shadow Marches, which is very similar to what we would think of as typical Vietnamese. Recently, she has taken to wearing more formal (and form-fitting) colorful, silken gowns as opposed to the loose linen work clothes she has preferred in the past.
