The Cathedral of the Cleansing Flame stands proudly in the center of Temple District, its beautiful white towers reaching into the sky- each topped with a brilliant silver flame. Immaculate marble statues line the main walkway to the large silver doors of the building, each apparently depicting a famous paladin, cleric, or clergyman that originated in Sharn. The building itself is made mostly of white stone and marble, with silver window frames encasing beautifully rendered stained glass windows.
The central temple of the Church of the Silver Flame serves both as a templar garrison and the site of grand rituals and celebrations. Though most of the paladins and clerics working in this cathedral are trainees, some also guard the road from Sharn to Wroat, protecting pilgrims on their way to Flamekeep in Thrane.
The cathedral itself is part of a slightly larger complex including a garrison of 30 paladins and clerics and a religious school to support children developing in the faith.
Services are held multiple times per day, every day of the week. There is not a particular "holy day" in the week, and the clergymen work tirelessly to see to the needs of the many parishoners that walk through its gates. The Church has been an active part in the welcoming of refugees fleeing The Mournland and maintains the largest private orphanage in Breland.
