Tenets of Faith
The followers of Aherin believe that all life, no matter how small, is sacred and a life should only be taken if it means the preservance of more lifes. Followers include clerics, doctors, hunters, farmers and musicians.
Holidays
When Aherin is being worshipped, it is always a sight to behold. The worshippers will publicly gather once a month and celebrate their goddess with song and dance and a shared meal afterwards.
Divine Goals & Aspirations
Aherin is one of the gods more prone to meddling with the afair of humans. She and her followers have always been cleary opposed to The Dark One, as the Dark One, seeking destroy and corrupt life, is a stark anti-thesis to Aherin and her beliefs. In the The Age of Dread, she gifted Dawnbringer, Bane of Undead to her Champion, Thea Dawncrest.
Legend has it that when things looked grim, Thea Dawncrest offered herself up to become Aherin's Avatar, allowing the goddess to take a more active role in trying to destroy this evil once and for all. During the final battle, she managed to deal a killing blow to The Dark One, she was, however, mortally wounded in the process.
Physical Description
Apparel & Accessories
She commonly depicted as a female warrior, wearing elaborate gold and green platemail. Her helmet is horned and covers her eyes. She holds a sword, standing eternal vigilance as the watcher of life.
