Half-elves
The Half-elves of Tamia are a mix of human and elven parentage. They appear to be Human with a grace that is rare to that race, and have white hair and silver eyes. Half-elves are looked at differently depending on which nation they are in: In Anor they are generally not well liked and looked at in some circles as useless half breeds. In Syll, they are respected and looked at as the elves children, though this has its own problems to a lot of the half-elves that live there. In Garon'd they aren't tolerated what so ever, seen as an abomination, and In Nagar they are just another potential buyer.
They tend to range in height from 5'0 to 6'0 and have lifespans that are almost triple that of their human side with some of the oldest half-elves reaching near 300 years before they pass. Of course the most relevant feature of being a half-elf is elven magic. Elven magic is a rare bond between elves and the elements of the world. Because of the blood running in their veins they have the ability to cast the magic like the elves do, however most half-elves do not wish to spend that many years of their life studying the spells and rituals necessary to do so.
Basic Information
Genetics and Reproduction
The only thing of note for half-elves is the interbreeding of the continued race. When a Half-elf mates with a human, the result is always Human. When they mate with an elf, the result is always Elven. The only way to breed a Half-elf is an Elf and a Human
Ecology and Habitats
They have no preferences in living anywhere. Like humans, they can thrive in most environments.

In the Shards
Half elves in the shards are even more rare, as inbreeding among the slaves themselves is forbidden. Still these things happen and they are subjected to the same Elven Silencing techniques that elves are.Remove these ads. Join the Worldbuilders Guild
