Humans

Written by Salen

Humans, the most varied species on all of Eather'an, are as diverse as they are dangerous. Coming in all shapes and sizes, it is often joked about in elven and dwarven company that Humans were made as a mistake, mixing everything that was left over once the aforementioned races were complete. They range anywhere from 5 feet to almost 7 feet tall and can weigh anywhere in the range of 120 - 200 lbs. Their hair and eye color doesn't seem to be restricted at all, and they dress in any style that seems fitting to the setting they live in.

Tamia

The humans in Tamia are hard to describe. They run the gambit from determined, to lazy to greedy, and back to compassionate. There is no set way to describe them unless it's mercurial.

The Shards

The humans in The Shards are a rebellious race. They refuse to be broken like the dwarves, and will not be cowed like the elves. They are fierce and determined, fighting against their captors whenever they can, even after centuries of captivity. This being said, they are not a rash species anymore however, they have learned to plan the long game and always act with level heads and strategy.

Basic Information

Genetics and Reproduction

It must be said that humans will try and mate with anything. They have been responsible for the Half-elves in Tamia and the Shards, Half-orcs in the Shards (though that is more the orcs fault then the humans in most cases) and wild rumors abound of half-dwarves (unsubstantiated), and even Half-faeries (complete bollocks)

Ecology and Habitats

The humans of Eather'an can literally survive anywhere, its their racial ability to be able to adapt to their surroundings in time. Cold, heat, humid, dry, it doesn't matter at all, as long as they can breathe and eat their all set.
