Forest of S'ren
The Forest of S'ren is located in the west of Tamia and is the primary location of the Nation of Syll . The forest is ancient and sports very large coniferous trees, called Henna Trees, that also act as cities for the elves and half-elves that reside here. Gear tracks run through the woods, winding peacefully through the beautiful forest. Elven cats hunt here, and large birds nest high up in the canopy, waiting for their meal to scurry by underneath.
Geography
This boreal forest consists of coniferous trees such as pine and birch, along with much larger trees that grow among them. These massive trees are called Henna Trees and they grow so large that residences can be made around them and people can live within them. Elven magic takes great care to sculpt them without damaging the tree, and anything that is taken down is put to use so as not to waste the life of the woods. The canopy above is tight and shades the forest in darkness most of the time, with a little light seeping in here and there.

Where there's Smoke
Living inside of a giant tree sounds like a delight, that is until you think about how someone cooks inside of a giant fire conductor (as a dwarf was once herad saying) So how does one go about lighting a fire insde of a giant tree? Well it really is simpler than it sounds and for once the reason isn't magic (though that would certainly help) No. The answer for this is that the wood used for the cooking fires do not burn that well. The Henna Tree is resistant to fire, so any of its branches that fall do not burn fast, however they burn very hot. This is a conundrum in the scientific realm, and more than one scholar from the Nation of Anor has been seen wandering the elven villages taking samples.Remove these ads. Join the Worldbuilders Guild
