Everloom

The Capitol of Anor, Everloom is the seat of power in that nation. Originally named for the line of kings that rule here, the city of Everloom has grown into a booming technological city. Situated on the edge of Crystal Lake, this city makes use of the flowing river that feeds the lake. The huge dam that sits at the mouth of the river powers the forges underneath that create parts for airships by funneling the water through five large wheels that turn with the power of the water. The pressure that builds underground due to the work on the forges is vented through large hollow towers that spew forth smoke into the air.

Demographics

Humans, half-elves, and dwarves make up the majority of the population, divided among most of the classes. The humans by far have the majority of the upper class, while the dwarves hold the working class firmly.

Government

A hereditary Monarchy, The King and Queen of Everloom reside here but have a Lord that sees to the day to day running of the city. Lord Variant Harlren has the pleasure of running Everloom, and he has councils with the King and court once per tenday.

Defences

The Airships of Everloom are impressive. They have 2 fleets of 20 airship class 70 mark 6 crafts and 40 smaller crafts. They also have a standing army of 4000 troops on the ground and half of those are airship combatants.

Infrastructure

Everloom is one of the most technologically advanced cities in the north. It is the first city to make use of the large watermills, one of the only cities (besides Gar) to have sewers, and has some of the best manufacturers of airship parts outside of Nagar.

History

The first settlement in the northern nation of Anor, Everloom took shape quickly, growing with the speed of technology, the city kept up with the needs of the people and grew accordingly. The city has stood here for centuries, and is one of the only cities that hasn't been rebuilt from the ground up for one reason or the other.

Architecture

The buildings here are mostly wooden and stone structures, adorned with gearwork art and functional devices. The rich have lavish villa's while the working class has more of a wooden two story dwelling.

Geography

Everloom rests on the plains near Crystal lake, and it is built right on the edge of the Rush, and the lake.

Mystvale Insitute of Learning

Everloom is home to the largest scientific institute in all of Tamia, Mystvale Institute of Learning.This college accepts students year round and getting in is a high honor indeed. Even dwarves come here to learn from the professors in classes of mathematics, science, engineering, and theory. There is a grant to one aplicant every year that wins an essay contest, and the King pays for the winner's tuition for life.
