Diandrous (Di-an-dro-us)

Flight of Agartha

In the hushed silence of a secluded mountain cavern, a lone observer sat meditating, lost in the depths of his own aspirations. Suddenly, a warm and inviting light radiated from the cavern's entrance. A series of colored scales began to float in the air, forming a mesmerizing pattern before assembling into an ethereal figure of a mighty dragon. The observer, stunned and awestruck, recognized the figure as none other than Diandrous, the jewel dragon. Diandrous, in his astral form, was a translucent, prismatic entity, almost a holographic manifestation, yet tangible. His size was imposing, yet his form was not threatening. The observer felt an overwhelming sense of aspiration and hope. The dragon's mouth opened, and out poured not fire, but inspiring wisdom, guidance, and motivation. It was an encounter that would forever shape the observer's destiny and renew his belief in the power of hope and aspiration
An Astral Intervention of Diandrous

Diandrous, Flight of Argatha, stands as a beacon of hope and aspiration in the realms of Eastrix. Born from the power struggle of Bahamut and Tiamat, Diandrous inherits the honor of the Platinum Behemoth and the jewel essence of his mother, the Scaled Leviathan. Despite the dark temptations that lurk within his bloodline, he resists the call for power and focuses on upholding the harmony of Argatha, the realm of dragons. He is the patron god of aspiration, teaching his followers to dream, hope, and strive for their ambitions with wisdom and honor. His symbols - a plethora of colored scales and his distinct dragon outline - serve as tokens of his divine presence. He is revered through sacred texts inscribed in Drakkinn, and his artifacts, like the Platinum Horn and Crown of the Dragonflight, are legendary treasures sought by the most devoted. His tenets of Resilience, Harmony, and Aspiration guide his followers towards a purposeful and honorable life.

Divine Domains

Diandrous, the Flight of Argatha, being the jewel of dragonkind and the beacon of aspiration and hope, presides over several divine domains.   Domain of Aspiration: This domain encompasses the drive to strive for greater heights, the hunger for achievement, and the thirst for knowledge. It is through this domain that Diandrous influences the dreams and ambitions of mortals, infusing them with the will to transcend their limitations. Clerics of this domain are inspirational leaders, guiding those around them to better themselves and aim higher.   Domain of Hope: Diandrous stands as the shining paragon of hope amidst the shadows of despair. He inspires faith in a better future, even in the bleakest of times. This domain infuses a sense of optimism and resilience, a belief that no matter the hardships faced, a brighter dawn awaits. Clerics under this domain are the beacon of light that never fades, their resolve unbroken, their spirits undimmed.   Domain of Dragonkind: As the sole leader of the metallic and jewel dragons, Diandrous rules over the domain of Dragonkind. This domain holds sway over the primal power of dragons, their wisdom, their strength, and their inherent magical abilities. Clerics who pledge to this domain often develop draconic traits and manifest dragon-like abilities.   Domain of Honor: Inheriting the mantle of his father, Bahamut, Diandrous upholds the domain of honor, embodying virtues of integrity, courage, and self-sacrifice. It is through this domain that Diandrous instills a strong moral compass in his followers, guiding them to act with honor, even when facing the most challenging dilemmas.   Domain of Temptation: Shadowed by his mother's dark cravings, Diandrous is deeply connected with the domain of temptation. This domain embodies the constant struggle between the allure of power and the steadfastness of virtue. Clerics under this domain navigate the treacherous waters of desire, ambition, and morality, always at the brink of succumbing to their inner demons.

Artifacts

There are several artifacts created by Diandrous himself, the Cult of Dragons, Dragonkind and many more. These artifacts, steeped in the divine might and complex heritage of Diandrous, serve as physical manifestations of his unique identity, the struggles he endures, and the aspirations he upholds. Each artifact is a testament to the multifaceted nature of the Flight of Argatha, reflecting different aspects of his divine portfolio and heritage. These artifacts are:

The Platinum Horn

This lance, fashioned from one of Bahamut's scales, gleams with an ethereal silver light. It is reputed to be the strongest lance in existence, a weapon that can pierce reality itself. Inscribed with ancient dragon runes, the Platinum Horn hums with raw, unadulterated power, radiating a warmth that seems to embody the enduring honor and courage of Bahamut. It serves as a testament to Diandrous's devotion to his father's legacy and his determination to uphold the values that Bahamut held dear.

Crown of the Dragonflight

More than a mere symbol of authority, the Crown of the Dragonflight is said to embody the unity of all dragonkind. It is believed that the Crown can amplify the voice of its wearer, allowing them to communicate and command dragons across great distances, irrespective of their kinship. Moreover, the Crown resonates with the latent energies of each dragon type it represents, allowing the bearer to harness a fraction of each dragon's elemental power, be it fire, ice, lightning, acid, or poison.   This divine artifact was last seen in the care of Diandrous, before he hid it away, vowing that it would only resurface when a worthy follower emerged. As such, the whereabouts of the Crown remain unknown, with countless treasure seekers, dragon enthusiasts, and believers of Diandrous scouring every corner of the realm in their quest to uncover this legendary artifact.

Scale of Temptation

The Scale of Temptation is a dangerous artifact. Its corrupt power lures those who crave unmitigated might, promising them unfathomable strength at the cost of their moral compass. Yet, the Scale of Temptation also has a defensive aspect. When wielded by a person of strong will, it can serve as a shield, protecting the bearer from dark influences and magical corruption, acting as a bulwark against the malevolent whispers of Tiamat.   Diandrous, wary of the Scale's dangerous allure, chose not to keep it within his vicinity. Instead, he bestowed the Scale onto a faithful follower, whose identity remains a mystery. This follower was tasked with hiding the artifact where no one could find it, and ever since its disappearance, the Scale of Temptation has become the stuff of legends, its current location shrouded in secrecy and speculation.
