Personal history

Rustle of Scriptures was raised as an acolyte of a temple dedicated to t he Raven Queen. He was initially adopted into the celrics' orphanage and used for manual labor like the rest of the children. After a time, however, his perfect memory came tot he attention of the head priest and he was raised to the position of acolyte. This initially excited the young raven as he was given a glimpse of a life as a priest of the great queen. As a result he threw himself into his studies with a relentless hunger. It was during this time that he earned the name he has kept long since abandoning the temple itself: The Quiet Rustle of Scriptures Read. He usually Shortened to Rustle of Scripture. Unfortunately it quickly became apparent that in raising him from the filth the clergy cared little for him as person, instead treating him as a living database forcing him to read every scrap that came through the doors of the temple and dragging him into meetings regardless of his desire to regurgitate information. Rustle of Scriptures bore this treatment long enough to devour the contents of the temple libraries before slipping away in the night to pursue a quest. Early in his readings, he had discovered the fact that he was not meant to be as he was. His kind had once failed the Raven Queen and in so doing lost her divine gifts of the voice and wing. He would work to embody the ideals of her divinity and he would seek out the truth behind the fall and undo the great curse enshrouding his kind once and for all. It was this quest that would, many years later, lead Rustle of Scripture to arrive to Idriell, the Land of Gods.
