Mother Maybelle is an exceptionally powerful annis hag who presides over the
Court of All-Flesh from her Domain of Delight: the Festering Abattoir. Those who worship and revere her are allowed to suckle at her breast and partake of her milk, which makes their flesh thick and strong. The court is one of hunger everlasting, and life overflowing - growth unchecked.
Maybelle’s incredible hunger allowed her the power to overwhelm and consume all in her path to the throne of the Festering Abattoir, including several of her sisters. Rather than being destroyed, these lesser hags were incorporated into Mother’s ever-expanding corpulence, granting her a command over magic far greater than her kind can normally achieve.
All those who partake of Mother’s Milk are considered her children. And children must eat to grow big and strong! Though, don’t be fooled into believing this status will protect you from Mother’s wrath if she catches you being naughty.
