Legend Lore: Ckiral Xhirmane, the Red Winter

When Pikyr orchestrated the downfall of the Kings of Life, the Lords of Strife usurped their thrones, and Ckiral Xhirmane shone the brightest. Ckiral Xhirmane climbed the Searing Flame Castle, and unleashed a burst of heat so strong and so bright that it destroyed thousands in an instant, setting the air on fire and scattering their bodies to ash, shadows permanently scarred across the landscape.    This was her legacy, to burn so bright that the world would answer her; and it did, in the devastating winter that followed. For years, Idriell was blanketed in a snowstorm, cloaking the land in a dark, freezing Winter. Ckiral Xhirmane delighted in the paradox, freeze to death outside of the castle walls, or burn within.   The heat that she emitted was so strong that it permanently stained the castle with shadows that lingered long past her breath. These shadows would remain in Idriell for many thousands of years, threatening to steal the bodies of those who perished within them, as Shadows.   Ckiral Xhirmane has been sealed within the 'Shadows of Aurlus Solaris' by Pikyr, and with Pikyrs death, now wears the Umbral Court as a protective cloak, enjoying their hatred and vengeance, as she once doled out.
