Contact with Lady Briar was first made when Tegieth Deadwalker and company crossed the threshold of her shop, following a clue left by the enigmatic Pinion. While it is clear she has less than favorable relations with the Dreaming Engine, she is in good enough graces with the Chromatic Knights to own property within their domain.
She's proven friendly and amenable to Vareholm adventurers, if a bit cautions with the details of her own life.
