Backstory

Dayereth, along with the rest of his graduating class from the 'Academy Arcana' in his hometown of Neblus, has been sent out across the sea in search of a solution. His homeland - that is to say, the land itself - is sick. The continent of Darkon is being devoured by Mists. The Elven arch-mages of the Academy Arcana have taken it upon themselves to combat this encroaching doom as best as they can, while also training students in the basics of their magical combat arts and sending them out beyond the world to further their studies and hopefully return with new knowledge that may help.
