Personal history
Caedus, son of The Grand Immortal Baroness of Beauty and Blaze, Najwa Sadaf Amel Surayya Ali (and some elf she allowed to impregnate her; who cares?), spent his earliest years in the City of Brass. He was raised in his mother's palace with his 5 brothers and 5 sisters - all of them from different fathers. Once the children were deemed old enough to strike out on their own, their mother gathered them all together. She announced that over the next half-century, whichever among them proved themselves the greatest would win her favor and fortune, then promptly scattered them to the corners of the multiverse.
Ignis arrived in a nation called Thyatis. There, he insinuated himself into the military, where had a distinguished career over the next decade. He quickly rose to prominence among the military elite, and spent much of his time among the noble-generals of his nation. He enjoyed politics, for a time. But his love always lay on the battlefield, where there was no shortage of fuel for the fire his mother had blessed him with.
Alas, the war ended, and without a suitable place to spread the blaze, he grew restless. Certainly, scheming his way to the top of the political structure in Thyatis would be an accomplishment worthy of his mother's favor. But Ignis found the prospect a bore. When he heard sailors tell of a new land, wild and ripe for exploration, he was intrigued. It sounded like the sort of place where he could forge his own nation from fire and blood; A much more worthy achievement. Beyond that, at least a few of his siblings may have the same idea. If Ignis were to eliminate them along the way to becoming an emperor, well... it certainly wouldn't hurt his chances of winning their mother's contest.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Achieved rank of Pilus Prior (Captain) in the Thyatian Military.
On separate occasions, slew an Adult White Dragon, a Hellfire Engine, and ~30 Sahuagin with minimal assistance.
As part of a powerful team, slew the Boar King.
Failures & Embarrassments
Though he's certain it had to be some sort of illusion, Ignis was nonetheless subjected to experience 1001 deaths in an extra-planar dungeon within the ruins of Aurlus Solarus. He blames the being known as "Pikyr" for this, and has vowed revenge.
