Vacsuit
A vacsuit is a suit that protects the wearer against vacuum and the environment of space. It provides life support and protects the wearer against extremes of temperature and toxic atmospheres.
The air supply in a vacsuit lasts for 4 hours before recharging.
A short-range communicator and a vacsuit patch are included. Mag boots and a jet pack are available separately.
The suit does not make the wearer immune to actual heat damage (e.g. from fire or lasers) or to radiation; it provides its regular SOAK against these types of damage. Piercing damage is not soaked.
A critical hit with slashing or piercing damage will damage the vacsuit. The suit can be repaired with a vacsuit patch. A damaged vacsuit does not protect the wearer against vacuum or toxic atmosphere.
