Many scars stretch across the surface of Thodoc's flesh, leaving several bald patches in his fur, the most notable being a thick scar that stretches from his left eye down his snout to his nose.

Personal history
Thodoc was born somewhere in the wilds of the north to two bear moreaus, father Cargus and mother Hide (pronounced hee-day). He was raised to be a hunter and a fighter, and he excelled at both. A natural-born leader, Thodoc spent much of his adult life banding the various northern tribes together under one banner. This took a lot of convincing, but Thodoc was ruthless and uncompromising, leading to the title of "Redclaw." It wasn't long before he officially named his tribe The Redclaws. Once all the larger clans and tribes and most of the smaller ones had joined with him, he created a firm stronghold in the north known as Zudas Bastion with four outposts, each about fifty miles from the stronghold in the main four cardinal directions, known as the Aegion Forts.

Thodoc's most notable accomplishments would be the banding together of the northern clans and the founding of Zudas Bastion.

Thodoc strives for peaceful rule over the north. He wants to provide for his people to the best of his ability, even if that means being a tyrant.

Family Ties
Cargus, his father, is a polar bear moreau who, in his prime, stood even taller than Thodoc. Now, however, he has shrunk with age, his fur silver and face droopy. That doesn't stop him from going out and working, but it does make it more difficult. Hide, Thodoc's mother, is a smaller, brown bear moreau. She looks not a day over forty and is lively as ever despite the strange lump growing out of her belly. If left untreated, the lump could prove fatal. Thodoc has three wives. Bokra, his first wife, is a seven-foot-tall orc woman with thick, black cornrows and half a tusk missing. She is as much a warrior as Thodoc is and really only married him for his position. The pair had two sons, both orcish in appearance. Grammery, the oldest at seventeen, takes after both his parents in physical prowess, but is far more bloodthirsty than either. He is stationed at the western Aegion Fort, the one that sees the most monster-hunting, eleven months out of the year. Bale, the second son, is sixteen and the opposite of his elder brother. He is mild-mannered and chooses to spend his time woodworking rather than fighting. Thodoc's second wife, Kara, is a black bear moreau and Thodoc's childhood friend. She is far more protective over her son than Bokra is over hers. Kara's fur is soft, but her gaze is sharp. She is the most strict of the three mothers, which leads into her son Niko's rebellious and resentful nature. Niko, at twelve years old, is a five and a half foot tall bear moreau with splotchy black and white fur. He spends as much of his time as possible with his friends, getting into all sorts of mischief and shenanigannery. Nessa, Thodoc's third wife, is a beautiful otter moreau. She is clearly his trophy wife, whom Thodoc married only after having founded a stable home in Zudas Bastion. She is kindhearted and gentle, loving her husband and their daughter with all her heart. Nessa is one of the only people in Zudas who doesn't have an official job, but she has taken up running a daycare of sorts for the Bastion's children in her free time. Their daughter, Kaia, is a tiny, five-year-old otter moreau with a gentle temperament and excellent manners. Thodoc treats her like a princess and would let her get away with just about anything if she were ever so inclined to cause trouble. She spends her time glued to her mother's side helping her with all the chores to the best of her ability and keeping the other children company.

Social Aptitude
Thodoc uses intimidation as his primary method of communication. He is polite to a degree, but being raised in the wilderness doesn't exactly breed good manners. He is willing to listen to others, but is quick to anger when he feels slighted or belittled.
Mannerisms
Looks people dead in the eye when he is talking to them. He is always on his guard, muscles tensed, eyes peeled, and ears perked. It is difficult to tell whether he is smiling or sneering when he bares his teeth, but it is a frightful sight either way.
