Picasso Sá Cully (a.k.a. The Pure of Heart)

Ricardo Sá Cully (Rick Scully): is her best friend and sees it as his duty to defend her, regardless of whether or not she can handle a situation by herself. Jenelle calls him out when he is unintentionally misogynistic, reminding him that she is not a damsel in distress.
Samba: Samba is one of Jenelle's only childhood friends. Though he is only a cat, he acts as her protector and companion in her formative years. She is deeply impacted when he passes away.
Picasso: Jenelle babies Picasso, especially when Rick is not around. At times it appears Picasso prefers Jenelle given the fact that she dotes on him so much.
Neko: and Jenelle quickly connect. Initially Jenelle takes it upon herself to teach Neko about the world. However, over time Neko becomes more comfortable in the human world and serves as a martial arts instructor to Jenelle.
Asher Katzman: and Jenelle have a friendly relationship, though it is clear her loyalty is to Rick. When fights break out, she is always apt to take Rick’s side regardless of whether he’s right or wrong. Having taken care of Rick for so many years, Jenelle finds it difficult to hand over that responsibility to Asher.
Winnifred (Freddie) Arendonk: A journalist who helps uncovers the extent the Quinlan's have gone to frame Jenelle and have her labeled as a terrorist.

Estella Bandoni: Jenelle was Estella’s initial “mark” having visited her nightmares as a child. While walking in the forest, Jenelle sees the woman from her dreams, follows her, end ultimately finds Rick and freed him, along with many other specimens, thus ruining one of her earlier case studies. This leads to a pattern of situations where Jenelle inadvertently ruins Estella’s plans. Without knowing it, Jenelle has made a powerful enemy
